The Consortium for Migrant Worker Health, under the Centre for Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Practice (CEBP), Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, invites applications from highly motivated and diligent candidates for a fully funded PhD position.

Migrant Health Equity: Transforming Health Interventions for Migrant Workers
The project focuses on:
- Advancing migrant-inclusive health measurement.
- Generating evidence on the health impacts of labour conditions.
- Developing scalable interventions to improve health equity among migrant workers.
Programme Details
- Location: Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur
- Employment Status: Full-time (3 years)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or a related health field (CGPA ≥ 3.5).
- Malaysian citizen.
- Fluent in English and Malay (written and spoken).
- Eligible and willing to enrol as a full-time PhD student at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya.
- Strong academic writing and communication skills in English.
- Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research.
- Prior experience working with migrant communities is an advantage.
