The Asian Hyperbaric & Diving Medical Association (AHDMA) will hold its Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) 2026 from 20–23 August 2026 in Singapore. The meeting will take place at Aloft Singapore Novena, bringing together clinicians, researchers, nurses, and technical experts working in hyperbaric and diving medicine across the Asia-Pacific region.
The conference theme, “People, Pressure, Partnerships – Advancing Regional Diving and Hyperbaric Expertise,” highlights the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and capacity building to improve safety, clinical practice, and technical standards in hyperbaric and diving medicine.
The programme will feature keynote lectures, scientific presentations, and specialised pre-conference workshops. These include sessions on advanced hyperbaric nursing practice and technical standards for hyperbaric facilities, aimed at strengthening clinical competency and engineering reliability within regional hyperbaric services.
A highlight of the meeting is the keynote address by Professor Simon Mitchell, an internationally recognised expert in diving and hyperbaric medicine from the University of Auckland and Auckland City Hospital.
The AHDMA ASM has been organised annually across different countries in Asia since its inaugural meeting in Kuala Lumpur in 2005, serving as an important platform for knowledge exchange and professional networking in this specialised field.
