The Asia-Pacific Conference on Public Health (APCPH) is the flagship biennial conference of the College of Public Health Medicine (CPHM), Academy of Medicine, Malaysia. The conference provides an important platform for public health professionals, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to share knowledge, strengthen regional collaboration, and address emerging public health challenges in the Asia-Pacific region.
The 9th APCPH will be held from 6–8 July 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, under the theme:
“Closing the Public Health Gap through Technology, Partnership & People.”
The conference highlights the importance of inclusive, technology-enabled, and community-driven approaches in addressing persistent and emerging public health inequities.
The programme will be organised around four thematic tracks:
- Technology
- Equity
- People
- Climate & Environment
Participants can expect a dynamic programme featuring keynote lectures, plenary sessions, symposia, interactive forums, and free paper presentations, providing opportunities for knowledge exchange and regional collaboration in advancing public health practice and research.
As public health challenges continue to evolve, forums such as APCPH play an important role in strengthening regional partnerships and shaping future strategies to improve population health across the Asia-Pacific region.
