The Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, continues its Breakfast@UMHealth webinar series with a timely session in conjunction with World Health Day 2026.
Aligned with the global theme “Together for Health. Stand with Science”, this session underscores the importance of evidence-based decision-making in addressing contemporary public health challenges. World Health Day serves as an annual platform to reinforce the role of science, collaboration, and health system strengthening in improving population health outcomes.
The webinar will feature Professor Dr. Rafdzah Ahmad Zaki, who will share perspectives on how scientific evidence informs policy, guides interventions, and builds public trust. The session will be moderated by Dr. Mila Nu Nu Htay, facilitating discussion on the translation of research into practice within the Malaysian and regional context.
Scheduled on 8 April 2026 (Wednesday), 8.00 am to 9.00 am, the session will be conducted via Zoom and is open to all interested participants. The e-certificate link will be provided during the session.
