The Department of Social and Preventive Medicine (SPM), Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, is pleased to welcome Professor Dr Low Wah Yun, who has been reappointed as Honorary Professor and newly affiliated with the Department following her reallocation from the Dean’s Office.
Prof Low is a distinguished public health scholar with extensive leadership experience, currently serving as President-Elect of the Global Network for Academic Public Health (GNAPH). She is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Asia Pacific Journal of Public Health (APJPH) and a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia. Previously, she was the President of the Asia Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH).
Her appointment strengthens the Department’s academic and research capacity, and we look forward to her contributions in mentoring, international collaboration, and advancing public health scholarship.
