Di dalam Berita Wilayah pada 12 Oktober 2020, Prof Madya Dr Marzuki Isahak menekankan kepentingan penilaian risiko sebelum keputusan ke atas penutupan sekolah dibuat. Beliau juga mengatakan yang sempadan daerah dan mukim adalah sempadan pentadbiran, keupayaan jangkitan adalah bergantung kepada pergerakan manusia yang mungkin merentasi sempadan ini.
