Hybrid Talk – Introduction To Evidence-Informed Policy

We would like to invite you to join us at the “Hybrid Talk: Introduction To Evidence-Informed Policy“, to be held on 30th May 2024, at the Learning Centre TDR-RTC-WPR, Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Level 5, Block J, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. 

Introduction
Evidence-informed policymaking (EIP) is a structured process of making policy decisions based on the best available evidence in an objective manner. In this talk, we will introduce the basic concepts of evidence-informed policy, knowledge translation, development of an evidence brief for policy, and citizen engagement. We hope that his introduction will serve as a foundation towards the establishment of a knowledge translation platform, hence the institutionalization of EIP in Malaysia.

Speakers
This 1-hour talk will be taught by Dr Rama Krishna A/L Supramanian from the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, and Dr Lee Wenn Chyau from the Department of Parasitology.
