 he "Hybrid Talk: Introduction To Evidence-Informed Policy"\, to be held o
 n 30th May 2024\, at the Learning Centre TDR-RTC-WPR\, Department of Socia
 l and Preventive Medicine\, Level 5\, Block J\, Faculty of Medicine\, Univ
 ersiti Malaya. \n\n\n\nIntroductionEvidence-informed policymaking (EIP) i
 s a structured process of making policy decisions based on the best availa
 ble evidence in an objective manner. In this talk\, we will introduce the 
 basic concepts of evidence-informed policy\, knowledge translation\, devel
 opment of an evidence brief for policy\, and citizen engagement. We hope t
 hat his introduction will serve as a foundation towards the establishment 
 of a knowledge translation platform\, hence the institutionalization of EI
 P in Malaysia.\n\n\n\nSpeakersThis 1-hour talk will be taught by Dr Rama K
 rishna A/L Supramanian from the Department of Social and Preventive Medici
 ne\, and Dr Lee Wenn Chyau from the Department of Parasitology. \n\n\n\nR
