The Department of Social and Preventive Medicine (SPM), Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Madam Shamsina Shamsuddin for her outstanding achievement at the MAKSAK Indoor Games 2026.
Representing MAKSWIP in the Women’s Doubles Carrom category alongside Madam Noor Haslinda Mohd Arif from the Faculty of Medicine Dean’s Office, they emerged as Champions (Johan Beregu Wanita – Karom) during the games held in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, from 14 – 17 May 2026. The tournament involved participation from government servants and statutory bodies across 12 states, including teams from Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) and Jabatan Penjara Malaysia.
Madam Shamsina is an Assistant Science Officer and a programme assistant for the Master of Epidemiology (MEpi) programme in our department.
