Call for Applications: Riegelman GNAPH Fellow (Part‑time, Remote) – Closing Date 9 January 2026

The Global Network for Academic Public Health (GNAPH) is pleased to announce the recruitment of a one-year, part-time “Riegelman GNAPH Fellow.” This remote role (approximately one day per week) offers a unique opportunity for early‑career public health professionals, specifically, those who have earned a Master’s or higher-level degree within the past five years from an institution affiliated with GNAPH, to contribute meaningfully to global academic public health initiatives. The Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, through being an institutional member of the Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) is affiliated with GNAPH.

Role and Responsibilities

The selected Fellow will play a key role in advancing GNAPH’s global public health agenda. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating GNAPH’s strategic priorities, including managing aspects of the COPE Program and supporting the establishment and growth of a young professionals’ network.
  • Supporting the GNAPH Secretariat, facilitating communication among member institutions and helping organise events, meetings, or capacity-building initiatives.
  • Contributing to sustainability efforts, including identifying potential funding sources and supporting plans to sustain GNAPH’s activities over the long term.

Through these tasks, the Fellow will gain exposure to cross‑regional collaboration, academic public health leadership, and international networks — an invaluable platform for emerging professionals seeking global engagement.

Who Should Apply

  • Early‑career public health professionals (within five years of earning a Master’s or higher) from a GNAPH member institution.
  • Individuals with interest and demonstrated commitment to advancing academic public health on a global scale.
  • Candidates able to commit approximately one day per week for the duration of one year, working remotely.
