The Department would like to congratulate Dr Rowena John on the successfully completion of her Doctor of Public Health Viva Voce. Her thesis was titled “Knowledge, Barriers and Utilisation of Sexual Reproductive Health Services Among Malaysian Youth – A Mixed Methods Study”. She was supervised by Associate Professor Dr Nik Daliana Nik Farid and Dr Nur Afiqah Mohd Salleh. The Department would also like to thank Prof Dr Rositasam @ Rozitasham Safii from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UniMAS) and Professor Dr Sajaratulnisah Othman from Department of Primary Care Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya as the examiners. The session was chaired by Prof Dr Hany Mohd Ariffin from Department of Pediatrics, and attended by Professor Dr Shahrul Bahyah Kamaruzzaman, Deputy Dean (Postgraduate) Faculty of Medicine and Professor Dr Victor Hoe the Head of Department.
