The Department would like to congratulate Dr Kalaashini Ramachandran on the successfully completion of her Doctor of Public Health Viva Voce. Her thesis was titled “Breast Milk Sharing: Motivators and Barriers to its Acceptance Among Malaysians”. She was supervised by Professor Dr Maznah Dahlui and Associate Professor Dr Nik Daliana Nik Farid. The Department would also like to thank Professor Dr. Khatijah binti Abdullah, Head of Department of Nursing, School of Healthcare and Medical Science, Sunway University and Professor Dr. Low Wah Yun, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya as the examiners. The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Fung Shin Ye, and attended by Associate Prof. Dr. Sabzali Musa Kahn the Senate Representative, Academy of Malay Studies, Universiti Malaya, Professor Dr Shahrul Bahyah Kamaruzzaman, Deputy Dean (Postgraduate) Faculty of Medicine and Professor Dr Victor Hoe the Head of Department.
