The Department of SPM would like welcome Dr Catherine Thamarai to the Department. She has joined us as Medical Lecturer. She is an alumnus of the Department; she obtained her Master of Public Health in 2018 and proceed with her Doctor of Public Health degree. Her DrPH thesis was “Parental Report of the association between screen time and social-emotional development of children aged 18 and 36 months old in the district of Gombak, Malaysia.” She was supervised by Associate Professor Dr Mas Ayu Said and Associate Professor Dr Nik Daliana Nik Farid. Her expertise and experience will be a valuable addition to the academic strength of the Department.
