Kiew Siew Juan, is a Master of Medical Science research student from the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, under supervision of Associate Professor Dr Hazreen Abdul Majid and Professor Dr Nur Aishah Mohd Taib, with title of dissertation: Nutritional Changes among Malaysian Breast Cancer Survivors at University Malaya Medical Center. A more comprehensive understanding is provided with a mixed method of longitudinal observation of breast cancer survivors’ nutritional status and exploration of the factors that affect their dietary behaviour to inform a better survivorship care plan.

I am grateful to have the opportunity to study at the University of Malaya. There is pain and hardship along the journey as a master student, yet, I am blessed with love, care and support from many people surrounding me. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to both of my supervisors, family members, and many people who are too numerous to mention individually.

There is a right time for everything, and everything on earth will happen at the right time. While this experience will be part of my life, I will continue anew chapter of my life and use all that I learned to make the world a better place.
