The Department would like to congratulate Associate Professor Dr Azizan Omar on his appointment as the Deputy Dean for Student Affair and Community Engagement at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University Malaysia Sabah. Associate Professor Dr Azizan Omar is a Master of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health alumni from the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. He completed his Doctor of Public Health in 2019 with the thesis titled “Trends, Factors and Consequence of Overweight and Obesity in the Malaysian Army“.
