Many countries in Western Europe and the United States of America has reported children are presenting with Kawasaki-like disease, which was subsequently linked to COVID-19. However, so far there are no reported cases of Kawasaki-like diseases among children with COVID-19 in Malaysia. In an interview with the China Press, Professor Datuk Dr Awang Bulgiba Awang Mahmud explain about the epidemiology of the Kawasaki-like disease and other extra-pulmonary symptoms.
