Welcome our new Master of Public Health students

The Master of Public Health (MPH) programme continues to strengthen its accessibility and responsiveness to demand by offering two intakes each year, in September and February. This approach supports greater flexibility for prospective students and enhances the programme’s capacity to develop public health professionals throughout the year.

On 24 February 2020, the Department organised a short lunch meeting to welcome and brief the new cohort of MPH students. The session provided an overview of the programme structure, academic expectations, and available support systems, while also offering an opportunity for students to engage informally with faculty members.

For this semester, the programme welcomed 17 new MPH students. The gathering served not only as an orientation platform but also as an early step in building collegiality and a sense of community within the cohort.

We warmly welcome all new students and look forward to supporting you throughout your journey in public health. We hope your time in the programme will be both enriching and impactful as you prepare to contribute to the advancement of population health.
