Dr Haris Ahmed the Head of Sukh Initiative AMANHEALTH presented the development and progress of the Sukh Initiative 2013-2019. The Sukh Initiative is a Family Planning program which is the result of a tripartite partnership between Aman Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the David & Lucile Packard Foundation. The goal of the initiative is to increase modern contraceptive use by 15 percentage points amongst married women in four towns of peri-urban Karachi (Bin Qasim, Korangi, Landhi and Malir), covering a population of 1 million. Dr Haris is a graduate of the MPH class of 2005/2006.
