The 1st seminar on “Risk Assessment at the Workplace” for the Univerisy Malaya Medical Centre was organised jointly by the UMMC Training and Career Development Division, UMMC Quality Management Division and the Occupational and Environmental Health Unit, Department of Social and Preventive Medicine. The seminar was held on the 22nd and 23rd August 2006 at the training centre within the new UMMC Trauma and Emergency Block. Professor Dr Jamiyah Hassan the Deputy Director of UMMC and the Chairperson of the UMMC OSH Committee were also present during the presentation by the participants on the findings of their walk through survey of three work place in UMMC.
