02 Oct 2018 – 03 Oct 2018 @ 08:30 – 17:00 – ABOUT THE WORKSHOP This workshop serves as an introduction to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). SEM grows out and serves purposes similar to multiple regression, but in a more powerful way. SEM can handle nonlinearity, correlated dependents variable, multiple latent variables and the like. One of the attraction of SEM is its graphical modeling interface. In this workshop, the AMOS software […]
22 Nov 2021 – 23 Nov 2021 @ 09:00 – 17:00 – In SEM, the interrelated relationships among multiple dependent and independent constructs can be examined by researchers. SEM methods have been used in many disciplines and have become an important method for analysis in scientifically research. Structural equation modelling techniques were most appropriate for this research study involving multiple independent-dependent relationships that were hypothesized in the […]

The Generalized Linear Model (GLMz) expands the General Linear Model (GLM) so that the dependent variable is linearly related to the factors and covariates via a specified link function. GLMz allows for the dependent variable to have a non-normal distribution. GLMz covers widely used statistical models, such as linear regression for normally distributed responses, logistic models for binary data, logistic models for ordinal data, loglinear models for count data, complementary log-log models for interval-censored survival data, plus many other statistical models through its very general model formulation. The Generalized Estimating Equations (GEE) procedure extends the GLMz to allow for analysis of repeated measurements or other correlated observations, such as clustered data
