On October 26, 2026, the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine organised a visit to the Spritzer manufacturing facility in Taiping. The objective of this trip was to gain insights into modern manufacturing processes and to foster team bonding through a shared healthy lifestyle activity.
Factory Visit: Spritzer Taiping

During our visit to the Spritzer facility, we were introduced to the company’s advanced product lining. A key highlight of the tour was learning that the facility operates with 90% automation. This high level of automation allows for exceptional precision, efficiency, and quality control throughout the bottling and packaging processes. The person-in-charge provided a comprehensive overview of how these automated systems contribute to maintaining the high standards of their products while minimising human error and maximising output.
Healthy Lifestyle Activity: Taiping Lake Gardens

Following the factory tour, the department visited the nearby Taiping Lake Gardens. This portion of the trip was organised to promote a healthy lifestyle among colleagues. We participated in a group walk around the scenic lake, which provided an excellent opportunity for light exercise and relaxation in a natural setting. This activity not only encouraged physical well-being but also allowed for informal networking and team building outside of the usual office environment.
The department trip to the Spritzer Taiping and the Taiping Lake Gardens was a successful combination of professional development and personal well-being. We gained valuable knowledge about automated manufacturing processes and reinforced the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle. We look forward to applying these insights to our work and maintaining the positive team spirit fostered during this trip.
