The Department of Social and Preventive Medicine (SPM) extends its heartiest congratulations to Professor Dr. Maznah Dahlui on her appointment as Head, Health Economics Division and Casemix Unit, Department of Clinical Research and Advancement, under the portfolio of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), effective 6 April 2026.
This well-deserved appointment reflects her strong leadership, distinguished scholarship, and significant contributions to the field of health economics. Her work has been instrumental in advancing evidence-informed policy, strengthening health system efficiency, and promoting sustainable healthcare financing.
SPM is confident that Professor Maznah will continue to drive excellence through strategic leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, and capacity building, particularly in areas that bridge research, policy, and practice. Her role will further enhance institutional efforts in strengthening health systems and improving population health outcomes.
