Empowering Future Researchers: EndNote Workshop Boosts Academic Success!

On December 20, 2024, the Centre for Population Health (CePH) at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine had the pleasure of hosting an engaging EndNote Hands-on Workshop, aimed at enhancing the research capabilities for clinical master’s candidates from the Department of Sports Medicine. Conducted by our esteemed facilitators, Dr Siti Idayu Hasan and Associate Professor Dr Farizah Mohd Hairi, the workshop attracted a group of eager participants who were ready to explore the potential of EndNote in organizing, managing, and citing references with greater ease.

Over the course of three hours, attendees learned valuable skills to streamline their writing processes and improve the efficiency of their research. The session included interactive demonstrations and practical exercises, allowing participants to apply their newfound knowledge immediately. Feedback from attendees reflected their enthusiasm and appreciation for the tools and strategies shared during the workshop, which will undoubtedly aid them in their current and future research projects.

A special acknowledgement goes to Dr Kwong Soke Chee for organising this successful event and ensuring everything ran smoothly. The success of this workshop highlights CePH and the department’s commitment to empowering students and researchers with essential research tools and fostering an environment of continuous learning. We look forward to hosting more workshops like this in the future to support our students’ academic journeys! Stay tuned for upcoming events and opportunities to enhance your research skills!
