The department would like to welcome Dr Lim Yin Cheng to the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. Dr Lim joins us as a Medical Lecturer and will be part of the Occupational and Environmental Health Discipline. Dr Lim is an alumnus of the Department. He completed his Master of Public Health in 2014 and continue with his Doctor of Public Health. He completed the DrPH in 2019 obtaining a distinction for his thesis, titled “Health impacts of night work among employees in Malaysia”. After graduation he went back to the Ministry of Health and served in Selangor State Health Department and the National Institute of Health Malaysia before joining us.
