We are looking for doctors with a degree in Doctor of Public Health or Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Public Health to join the department as a medical lecturer. Doctors who are a Public Health Medicine Specialist registered with the National Specialist Registry are encouraged to apply.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:

Medical Lecturer (DU)

Job Scope:

1. To teach and supervise undergraduate medical and allied health student in the field of public health
2. To teach and supervise Master of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health students
3. To lead and contribute to research and consultation activities
4. To lead and contribute in department and academic development activities

Location:

The job will be based in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya

Qualification:

1. Doctor with a valid annual practising certificate from Malaysian Medical Council
2. Master of Public Health degree or equivalent
3. Doctor of Public Health or Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Public Health

Requirements

1. Strong proficiency in English
2. Ability to think critically and work independently

Salary: According to the salary scheme of the University of Malaya
