The SPM Family Day was held on the 2 Mac 2019 at the Centre Point, Faculty of Medicine. It was organized by the MPH students and staff of SPM. A total of 50 students, 20 staff and 48 family members attended the event.

The family day started with an aerobic exercise at 8.00am, followed by breakfast. The highlight of the family day was the Amazing Race which took the participants to the main library, Chancellery, the UM lake and some places within the Faculty of Medicine. They were challenged by activities that required good team work. Some participants carried their children of 1 to 5 years old throughout the race!

Those who did not join the Amazing Race played the in-door games which were fun and challenging as well. There were lots of small gifts to be won from these games.

There was also a kids’ corner prepared for children below 7 years old. Kiddy games were also organized for them. Both adults and children had fun during the day.

The last event was the performances by the talented students, where songs and dances were performed. There was also lucky draw for the participants. All students, staff and family members enjoyed themselves. The aim of having all students, staff and family members to get together were achieved. The family day adjourned at about 2pm.
