Short course on Survival Analysis was successfully completed. The course was ran over 3 days comprising lecture series and practical computer applications for the analysis. A total of 14 participants had attended the course including participants from Universiti Air Langga, Surabaya and also local participants from the faculty and the CRC. It was conducted at the SPM computer lab for full utilization and practical aspects of survival analysis. The course was conducted by the head of epistats unit, Dr. Sanjay Rampal.

On June 10, 2025, Médecins Sans Frontières Malaysia held an event titled Building Bridges Towards Refugee Dignity to advocate for refugee rights and healthcare access. Universiti Malaya was represented, emphasizing its commitment to public health equity. Highlights included a screening of Lost at Sea, opening remarks by YAM Tunku Zain Al-‘Abidin, and an expert panel discussion on refugee healthcare challenges. The event also featured a refugee artisans fair and fostered networking for future collaborations in refugee welfare.
