How to Apply for the Master of Public Health (MPH)

Step 1: Create a MAYA Account

If you are a new applicant, you must first create a MAYA account.

  1. Visit apply.um.edu.my.
    For the best experience, use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Click New User.
  3. Complete the registration form.
  4. Click Proceed to create your account.

Already have a MAYA account?

Log in at maya.um.edu.my and select the Admission tab if you are:

  • Continuing an existing application.
  • A returning student applying for further studies.

Step 2: Complete Your Online Application

After logging in, select the following options:

Click Search Now, then select:

Programme

MASTER OF PUBLIC HEALTH (SCWMQBFTCV2003 – Sarjana Kesihatan Awam)

Click Apply to begin your application.

Step 3: Complete the Application Form

Fill in all required information.

  • Update each section carefully.
  • Click Save and Continue after completing each page.
  • Upload all required supporting documents.

Step 4: Pay the Processing Fee

Complete the online payment for the application processing fee.

Note: Applications will only be processed after the processing fee has been successfully paid.

Step 5: Submit Your Application

Once you have completed all sections and made payment:

  1. Review your application carefully.
  2. Click Submit to confirm your application.
  3. An acknowledgement email may be sent to your registered email address.

Important: Once your application has been submitted, you will no longer be able to make any changes.

Important Reminders

  • Incomplete applications, including those without payment of the processing fee, will not be processed.
  • Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all information and supporting documents submitted are complete and accurate.
  • The University of Malaya reserves the right to reject an application, withdraw an offer of admission, or terminate a student’s candidature at any time if any information or documents are found to be false, inaccurate, or misleading.
