Dr David Koh is Professor and Head of Department of Community, Occupational and Family Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is also Chairman of the Committee of Occupational Medicine and Deputy Director of the CEOHR.
His research, teaching and consulting are in:
- occupational and environmental health
- occupational medicine
- environmental dermatology
- salivary biomarkers.
Professor Dr David Koh is not new to the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Malaya, he has been coming here as external examiners both for the MBBS Phase III examination and also the Master of Public Health (Occupational Health) programme. During those visits, Professor Dr David Koh also gave lectures on “SARS and Health Work: What lesson we have learned? ” on the 13th April 2005 and “Salivary Biomarkers Research – Promises and Pitfall” on the 08 Nov 2006 in Dewan Gaharu, and “Recent Developments in Occupational Health Legislation in Singapore” on the 14 Nov 2006 for the Master of Public Health (Occupational Health) programme candidates.
