The department would like to welcome Dr Rama Krishna Supramanian to the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. Dr Rama joins us as a Medical Lecturer and will be part of the Occupational and Environmental Health and the Health Policy and Management diciplines. Dr Rama is an alumnus of the Department. He completed his Master of Public Health in 2016 and continue with his Doctor of Public Health. He completed the DrPH in 2020 the title of his thesis was “Development, Implementation and Evaluation of a Hearing Conservation Program among Vector Control Workers”. After graduation, he went back to the Ministry of Health and served in the Petaling Jaya Health District, Selangor State Health Department and the Ministry of Health at Putrajaya before joining us.
