Congratulation Dr Alia Daniella Binti Abdul Halim for receiving Dr Wu Lien-Teh Young Investigator Award for Research at the 14th National Conference for Clinical Research (NCCR)

The Department would like to congratulate Dr Alia Daniella Binti Abdul Halim for receiving the First Runner-up in the Dr Wu Lien-Teh Young Investigator Award for Research at the 14th National Conference for Clinical Research (NCCR).

Dr Wu Lien-Teh Research Awards have been sponsored by The Dr Wu Lien-Teh Society since 2015, in conjunction with the National Conference for Clinical Research (NCCR) is awarded to highlight researchers’ accomplishments and work. This initiative is to honour Dr Wu’s work and to inspire the new and future generations to conduct research on matters to mankind. Dr Wu Lien-Teh is also known for his contribution as the inventor of the Wu mask, which is the forerunner of today’s N95 respirator.

Dr Alia Daniella one of our Doctor of Public Health students from the Ministry of Health Malaysia presented her MPH research project titled “Rehospitalisation After Myocardial Infarction: A Malaysian Longitudinal Study”. She was supervised by Datuk Prof Dr Awang Bulgiba Awang Mahmud during her MPH.
