The Doctor of Public Health candidates from the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya have been very active in the media lately. They have been writing many articles to the media highlighting current issues. It is great that these students are practising public health advocacy early in their career.
In the article published on the MalayMail on 15 August 2020, Dr Wan Kim Sui, Dr Peter Tok Seah Keng, Dr Mohd Fauzy Samsudin, Dr Nuraini Aziz and Dr Vinura Venugopal, shared the lesson they have learned from the current COVID-19 pandemic and how that experience can help to tackle the non-communicable diseases epidemic in Malaysia.
