The department would like to congratulate Dr Mohammed Othman Mohammed Alshaikh from Sudan for passing his Doctor of Public Health viva voce held on the June, 2, 2020. The title of his thesis is Prevalence and Determinants of Tobacco Use Among Adolescents in Khartoum-Sudan. The study aimed to estimate the prevalence of tobacco use among adolescents in Sudan and to describe factors associated with its use. Dr Mohammed Othman was supervised by Associate Professor Dr Nasrin Agha Mohammadi and Associate Professor Dr Nik Daliana Nik Farid.
