N-95 respirators with ‘easy breathing valve’ should not be used for clean procedures

Prof Dr Victor Hoe a Public and Occupational Health specialist explains the difference between a normal N95 respirator and an N95 respirator with an ‘easy breathing valve’. The video shows a P95 respirator with an ‘easy breathing valve’ instead of an N95 Respirator, however, the information is the same for both. Respirators certified by NIOSH CDC USA carry the letter N, R and P. Respirators rated “N,” are Not resistant to oil, “R” is somewhat Resistant to oil, and “P” is strongly resistant (oil proof).
