The Department was delighted to receive Cecile Klaudine and her colleague from the Faculty of Clinical Nutrition, Department of Food Science and Nutrition, College of Home Economics, University of the Philippines. They were on a tour of educational institutions in the regions to review the courses offered and the opportunity for collaboration in their new Master of Science Nutrition Programme. They were planning to offer major in Public Health and Clinical Nutrition. Before coming to the University of Malaya, they have visited Mahidol University and Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, and Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Sains Malaysia. Assoc Prof Dr Moy Foong Ming and Prof Dr Victor Hoe shared with them the various modules in the Master of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health programme that is suitable for credit transfer. Following the visit, both parties planned to sign a Memorandum of Agreement.
