Evidence-based practice workshop was organized by AsiaLink on 8th until 10th of October at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. The workshop was intended to serve as an introduction to evidence-based medicine. It was aimed at clinicians and other health care professionals who wished to gain knowledge of critical appraisal and experience in the practice of evidence-based health care. It was attended by 31 participants from various universities, institutions and hospitals. The training focused strongly on how to practice EBM and commitment to patient-centred learning. It was conducted by lecturers from Julius Centre University of Malaya (JCUM) and led by Professor Paul P. Glasziou, Director of Centre of Evidence-based Medicine, Oxford University.
