Dr Marilyn Fingerhut from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Centre for Disease Control, the United States of America (NIOSH USA) came to the department on the 21 August 2007. She gave a presentation on occupational health and WHO Collaborating Centre for Occupational Health and the areas of focus for those centres. Associate Professor Awang Bulgiba gave a presentation on the Department followed by a presentation on Occupational Health Training by the Department presented by Associate Professor Retneswari. The presentation was attended by staff of the department and MPH (Occupational Health) candidates.
