Associate Professors Awang Bulgiba and Retneswari Masilamani paid a visit to Sydney from 06-11 May 2007. They visited the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine and the National Centre for Classification in Health, Faculty of Health Sciences. The purpose of the visit was to reciprocate the visit in Sept 2006 by the University of Sydney and to explore areas in which the two universities could cooperate and collaborate in teaching and research as well as to maximise the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two universities. During their stay in Sydney, the two staff also managed to visit the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, University of New South Wales. The department looks forward to greater collaboration and cooperation between the three universities in the area of public health.
