The Organisation and Management of Health Services (OMHS) is one of the two field programmes which is conducted by the SPM Department for MBBS undergraduates. The debriefing session for the OMHS Programme was held on the 14th and 16th February 2007. The students were divided into 8 groups and were posted to different districts to look at the health services. These areas include rural, semi-urban, urban and metropolitans.

The presentation was divided into two parts; the first is the presentation on the Organisation and Management of Health Services in the District, and the second is on special projects or focus areas. The focus areas included,
- Dengue Control Programme
- Malaria Control Programme amongst orang Asli
- School Health Programme – overcoming stress
- TB Control Programme
- Dr Muda programme
- Health Village Project in Kapong Ulu Yul (orang asli settlement)
- Health Promotion Programme for the Elderly
- Dapur Sihat (Healthy Kitchen)
The attendance for the debriefing session included representatives from Sepang and Petaling. Dr Ismail Lassa the Medical Officer of Health of Petaling District was were supportive of the programme as he was present on the first and last day, and he also brought along with him gifts from Petaling Health District.
