Marzuki Isahak

Professor Dr Marzuki Isahak is an experienced occupational and public health specialist with more than 23 years of practice spanning clinical care, academia, and industry. He currently serves as Principal (Occupational Health) and Health Advisor at PETRONAS, where he provides strategic guidance on workforce health within the oil and gas sector. He obtained his MBBS, Master of Public Health, and Doctor of Public Health (Occupational Health) from Universiti Malaya.

Dr Marzuki previously held academic leadership roles at Universiti Malaya, including Associate Professor in Occupational and Environmental Health and Head of the Public Health and Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Unit at the University Malaya Medical Centre. His academic portfolio includes more than 50 peer-reviewed publications and active participation in international conferences.

He is a registered Public Health Medicine Specialist and a Council Member and Fellow of the Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Malaysia. His work focuses on occupational health systems, workplace psychosocial risks, and industry-based health interventions.
