Dr. Mila Nu Nu Htay is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya. Trained in medicine, tropical medicine, family medicine, and public health, she earned her PhD in Public Health from Universiti Malaya.
Her research focuses on digital health literacy, migrant health, and cancer awareness, with a growing portfolio on medical education and evidence-based health promotion. She has published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers in international journals, delivered award-winning presentations at global conferences, and serves as editor and reviewer for several leading journals.
Dr. Mila is actively engaged in teaching public health and research methodology, curriculum development, and postgraduate supervision, reflecting her commitment to strengthening public health education and advancing collaborative research in Asia and beyond.
