ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
This workshop serves as an introduction to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). SEM grows out and serves purposes similar to multiple regression, but in a more powerful way. SEM can handle nonlinearity, correlated dependents variable, multiple latent variables and the like. One of the attraction of SEM is its graphical modeling interface. In this workshop, the AMOS software will be used.
Course content include:
• Multivariate data structures
• Concepts and indicators
• Factor analysis
• Types of SEM models
• Assumptions in SEM
• Model fit assessments
• Building alternative models
• Path analysis
• Testing mediation effects
• Multi-group analysis
