The Department would like to congratulate Dr Marzuki Isahak on his appointment as Principal (Occupational Health) at PETRONAS. His position is at HSE Global Services, Upstream Health, Safety & Environment, PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. Dr Marzuki graduated from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery in 2003. He came back to the University of Malaya in 2007 to join the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine as a Trainee Lecturer and registered for the Master of Public Health programme. He completed the MPH in 2008 and then continue with the Doctor of Public Health also at the University of Malaya and graduated in 2013. He was promoted to the position of Associate Professor in October 2019. After 8 years with the department, he moved to Petronas on August 2021 on secondment and will be resigning from Universiti Malaya in August 2023.
