The Department of SPM would like welcome Dr Nithiah Thangiah to the Department. She has joined us as a Senior Lecturer. She previously worked as the Administrative Manager of the Centre for Population Health, Universiti Malaya. She is an alumnus of the Department, she obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree for her thesis titled “A Longitudinal Analysis in the Clustering of Biological CVD Risk Factors among Adolescents in Malaysia: Findings from the MyHeART Study” in 2021. Her expertise and experience will be a valuable addition to the academic strength of the Department.
