Associate Professor Dr Hazreen Abdul Majid from the Centre for Population Health and Dr Wong Min Fui, Doctor of Public Health candidate from the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine was featured in MySinChew. Breakfast is the most important meal in a day that provides fuel to kick off the day. Children who consume regular breakfast have better ratings for mental health, academic performance, well-being, physical endurance and lesser risk of obesity. However, NHMS 2017 revealed that breakfast was the most frequently neglected meal in a day and that one in seven adolescents skipped their breakfast.
