This is the first lunch webinar organized by Centre for Population Health, University of Malaya for 2021. This event was moderated by Associate Professor Dr Hazreen Abdul Majid. Over 40 participants from various organizations; NanoMalaysia, University of Malaya (UM), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Institute of Microengineering and Nanoelectronics (IMEN), International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), UiTM and Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) took part in our webinar on 26th January 2021 at 12.00 -12.45 pm to learn from the nanotechnology expert, CEO Nanotechnology – Dr Rezal Khairi Ahmad about the usage of nanotechnology that can help in improving health. Dr. Rezal Khairi Ahmad was seconded as the Chief Executive of NanoMalaysia in June 2012 from Khazanah Nasional and became the chief architect of the company’s business model and commercialization programme. He is also a Board Member of NanoMalaysia and Nano Commerce Sdn Bhd, Founding Chairman of NanoVerify Sdn Bhd and Founding Director of Nanovation Ventures Sdn Bhd. As he has vast experience in nanotechnology, this webinar provides a good insight on nanotechnology towards human health. With the help of nanotechnology, it can improvise a wide array of areas from food manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, health and many more.
