Healthy and Nutritious Food for our Kids

During the current movement control order some school children are not receiving proper nutrition because of the closure of schools and school meal programmes. This will affect children from low income families more as the food programmes met a third of school children’s macronutrients requirements. However, parents still can provide inexpensive health and nutritious food for their children.

In an interview with the FMT newsportal, Associate Prof Dr Hazreen Abdul Majid, consultant dietician from the University Malaya Medical Centre shared some useful advice on ways to prepare and serve health and nutritious food.
