During the time of the movement control order, staying at home all day and having no school and no extracurricular activities may cause mental health issue among our children. They may not understand what is happening, we as parents must be able to talk to them about what is happening and find ways to make the situation acceptable to them. In an article published in the Star newspaper, Assoc Prof Nik Darliana Nik Farid highlighted that children of different age group need to be handled different approaches. Her advice for parents, it that they need to keep calm when explaining to their children about COVID19 and MCO.
