The Doctor of Public is a professional doctoral programme, which consists of two parts, Part 1 is the taught courses and a professional internship. Part 2 is the research component. The professional internship is an eight-week programme with four-week posting to any local or international public health-related institution. The professional internship is designed to enhance their training in the DrPH programme, they will apply what they have learnt in the taught courses during the internship. We encourage our students to choose an institution that is related to their research interest. They are also encouraged to venture out of their comfort zone and to experience the views of other public health providers besides the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
