Congratulation Tasdidaa Shamsi for being appointed as one of the two new APRU Global Health Student Ambassadors

The Department would like to congratulate Tasdidaa on her appointment as one of the two new Association of Pacific Rim University (APRU) Global Health Program’s student ambassador during the 12th APRU Global Health Conference in University of Malaya in 2018. The other new ambassador is Haytham A. Sheerah a doctoral student at the Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine Department of Public Health in addition to the current student ambassador, Meg Rentoria from the University of the Philippines.

Tasdidaa joined the DrPH programme in 2018. She graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK and an MPH and MBA from Bangladesh. She has worked as a QA Technologist, where she gained valuable experience in operations and health and safety.

Tasdidaa is supervised by Professor Dr Victor Hoe and Associate Professor Dr Moy Foong Ming.
